Life is complicated: Part I

I was just talking to some friends and have just now come to the conclusion that life is more complicated than it should be. I had often thought this to be true, but now I know for a fact that there are a number of factors which can be altered in order to make this world just a little less perplexing.

Exhibit A

When one goes to an all-you-can-eat buffet, which will cost roughly $10, it's not all you can eat. Here's why... you feel obligated to eat (at least) $10's worth of food, or else you feel that you have not gotten your moneys worth. So technically, it's an eat-at-least-$10s-worth-(even-if-it's-more-than-all-you-can-eat) buffet. This causes the individual who has eaten about $10's worth of food to feel groggy and just plain weird. Seriously, have you ever been to the bathroom of an all-you-can-eat buffet? It's not pretty :/

Exhibit B

This will contrast with Exhibit A, yet present the same results... an upset stomach. Free food. If you're like me, which you probably are, you enjoy free food. I mean you keep hearing the phrases "money doesn't grow on trees" and "nothing in life is free" so when you are presented with a situation that provides free food with supposedly no consequences, you again feel obligated to eat. But in contrast to Exhibit A it is not to get your money's worth; rather it is in order to get what satisfaction you can from life (because, again if your like me, life has dealt you a pretty crappy hand).

Solution: The solution to both Exhibits A and B is to present decent food, at a moderate price. That way individuals will not go overboard in regards to their eating habits. The problem is that the only moderately priced food available to the world is FAST FOOD, which is by no means a solution to the problem of an upset stomach. So really there is no solution but to make your own food. Don't be lazy! Man, life sure is complicated :(

I have just returned from the world's worst dilemma, the free all-you-can eat buffet!!! What was I to do? I had to sample (okay... endulge myself) the variety of foods that were there. Wow, I think it's safe to say that I am not going to be doing that again... no way, it's totally bad for my health... not to mention my stomach.
